Roger McKay was the President of GOFASST for almost 4 years .... 2001-2004.  During his term, both Roger and his wife Phyllis dedicated a lot of personal time to create special club events. 

One of the most beneficial efforts was Roger's goal of establishing the DAYTONA SPRING SPECTACULAR car show as a keystone event and Club Birthday Celebration! 

As a result, the Daytona Spring Car show remains as one of the biggest Impala SS club events in the Southeast part of the country.

Early on, Roger decided to create a one-of-kind Impala "SSupercar".  He started with a unique motor and the project has grown into a major rebuild of his DGGM Impala SS.   The motor is a Batten Performance model , which is a billet-aluminum, twin-cam, four-valve engine, with well over 500hp.  He has been interviewed by HOT ROD magazine and the article that details the project can be see at:

(Click on the above,  to see al the pictures and the article)  Unfortunately this BEAST was SOLD in 2010 so that Roger and Phyllis could re-organize their stable of cars as the retirement bug has bitten.

In 2010, Roger & Phyllis added a "Candy Apple Red Cadillac CTS-V" to the family for daily driving.... a very nice and beautiful ride, indeed.
