Thanks to Bob & Lynn Borchers for hosting the 2006 Christmas Party !!

There were not as many people at the Christmas Party as last year.  The weather was chilli compared to last year but it was sunny and quite a pleasant day.  (See pictures below)

We had two folks from Gulf Coast there and we added a new club member,  Juan Vazquez,  from Port St John.  A total of about 15 people came to join in on the festivities, but only 4 gifts were exchanged.

The $50 Summit gift certificates were won by two GOFASST members.  The winners were Phyllis McKay (Palm Bay) and John DuBois (from Ocala).

Mike Morgan talked about the PRI Show (Performance Racing Industry trade show).  There will be several GOFASST folks there.  Roger, Dave Goshorn & I will be coming.  Roger registered all three of us through his company, so we have our own ID's to get in.  Mike instructed the others where/how to meet so they could get in as GOFASST.

MEETING INFO.

BOB & LYNN BORCHERS have arranged to host the GOFASST Christmas Party.  The info you need to know includes:

Date: December 9th ---- Saturday
        (see directions at bottom of this page!)

Time: Start at Noon.... end about  4:30 p.m.

Location: Condo Pavillion.......and park area...

Cost:  This year the club will cover the cost of the party!..... just

Gift Exchange:  For those willing to participate, we will have a gift exchange of about $20 per gift.  ----- IF YOU BRING ONE, YOU GET ONE! 

Door PRIZE.....  In addition to providing some financial support for this event, GOFASST is sponsoring two (2) Summit Racing $50 gift certificates to be given away to some lucky folks at this Party!

Directions:

1. Take Hwy 528 (Beach Line) East to I-95 South

2. Take I-95 south to Exit 191 (Wickham Road/Patrick AFB Exit)

3. Turn left on Wickham Road and go to Post Road (about 8 miles) (There is Walgreen's Drug store on the corner of Wickham & Post)

 4. Turn right on Post Road and go to Windover Way (about 1 mile from Post & Wickham corner)

5. Turn right on Windover Way and go about 1 block to the pavillion which will be on your right We have the pavillion reserved all day, so we can have folks arrive by noon and serve about 1:30 or so. IIf we are going to do a gift exchange, we can do that following the lunch and still be done before dark .
